Cloud Computing for B2B Integration
Cloud computing is Internet-based ("cloud") development and use of computer services that usually provide common business applications online. Cloud computing users avoid capital expenditure on hardware, software and services, rather paying a provider only for what they use. User tenancies share resources leading to significantly lower costs and generally more scalable, more secure and more reliable services than the majority of applications in use today.
In 2004, eVision established MessageXchange.com as the first multi-tenanted service for B2B Integration. Today, there are many companies offering cloud computer services including Microsoft, Google, IBM and Amazon. Salesforce.com was established in 1999 and was the first cloud computer organisation to provide a multi-tenanted service for CRM users.
A MessageXchange.com tenancy can be configured online for a customer or by a customer to receive, send and orchestrate message exchanges and processes with trading partners, customers and other organisations.
A tenancy can be configured with any number of message types, mappings, processes, and so on and can handle any volume of messages and processing. All configurations and logged messages of a tenancy are securely segregated from other tenancies with access controlled by Log In name, password and privileges.
